This abstract piece demonstrates the vibrant colours of the Dampier
Peninsular waterways in the West Kimberley, and in particular where
ochre-red dirt meets the ocean’s cool blues and whitewash. The massive Kimberley tides have a mind of their own, and they take whichever path they choose, no matter what lies in the way. The tides are king in this country, and have always been revered by the Bardi
people.
