"Electronic Soundscapes", David Berkovitz
ARTE ARECHI IN COLLABORATION WITH OFFMARKET GALLERY

“In this very moment, what I find most fascinating, is what is mysteriously behind things.”

- David Berkovitz

David Berkovitz (Bologna, Italy) is a contemporary visual artist whose work investigates geometry, incision, and the mark as the foundational form of thought. His practice is defined by a disciplined and methodical approach, transforming fragile materials into refined spatial compositions.

Since 2011, Berkovitz has developed the Cube of Berkovitz and the series Continuous Line, evolving into the cycles Divaricazioni and Informal Cuts, where calibrated cuts in paper, cardboard, and glass generate depth, light, and shadow through measured intervention. His restrained palette — black, white, and gold — reinforces the tension between minimal structure and baroque resonance.

Selected exhibitions include Flussi, Parma, with curator Chiara Canali, Hyperbaton-Agostino art Gallery, Milan curated by Gianluca Marziani and a residency at Palazzo Donà delle Rose in Venice. He has also designed installations for composer Neuf Voix, translating musical structures into spatial architecture.

His works are held in private collections in Europe and internationally, including the Contessa Chiara Modica Donà Delle Rose, Venice.

The exhibition Electronic Soundscapes in Perth is Berkovitz’s Australian Premiere Exhibition, presenting his refined exploration of mark, geometry, and spatial perception to Australian collectors.
