Dampier Reef is inspired by the beautiful colours of the Dampier Peninsular, West Kimberley. The colours feature a deep ocean blue, light shallows, and an exquisite Kimberley coral. Orange and blue signify danger, as see with the blue-ringed octopus and the ribbon-tail ray, a juxtaposition  with the peaceful environment.
