Hailing from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Giorgio Della Monica began his career early on as an apprentice to local artists. He began his artistic journey with a focus on classical figurative, still life and landscapes and has continued to explore and experiment with varying techniques and styles throughout his career. With a career spanning more than fifty years, Della Monica has been exhibited across Italy and abroad in both public museums and private collections. The artist has been the recipient of multiple awards and winner of numerous competitions worldwide including the Prix International René Magritte, Brussels, the Prix International Artiste de Montmatre, Cannes and the Premio Oscar delle Arti Vivise, Monte Carlo.

He has recently been exhibited at the town hall of Santa Fé (Argentina), at the La Patie gallery in Cannes, at the Beijing International Art Fair, the Kiton in New York and at the Teatro delle Arti in Salerno.
